Vincent Massey Public School was built in 1958. It was named after the first Canadian born Governor General, Vincent Massey. Vincent Massey is a K - Gr. 8 school with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). We have a student population of approximately 650.

We are located on Smyth Road in Ottawa's East. Nearby facilities include the Museum of Science and Technology, the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the Ottawa General Hospital. We are just 2 blocks from Hillcrest High School. We hope you enjoy visiting our dynamic school.

Population:

We have an enrollment of approximately 650 students, representing well over 50 countries. Languages spoken include: Somali, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Kurdish, Serbian and ASL. Many of our Intermediate students come from Arch Street and Pleasant Park. When our students graduate, they go to Hillcrest, Canterbury and Glebe Secondary Schools.

We are a Junior Kindergarten to grade 8 dual track community school. We have 1.5 Kindergarten, 11 Primary/Junior and 4 Intermediate classes in the English program. We have 0.5 Kindergarten, 3 Primary/Junior and 2 Intermediate classes in Early French Immersion. We have 1 Junior and 2 Intermediate gifted French Immersion classes.
